we give each other the strength to succeed and the courage to take that leap of faith into bigger and better things so get excited because together to have a hand in changing the world all right ladies and gentlemen welcome to sign genovation Day 2018 hi we're happy hugs and we're creating a bear for children with anxiety joint and muscle pain and insomnia are very well have three components I heating component a voice recording component and a heartbeat it took us months and months of calculations and coding and trying to figure out how to build our bear our teacher always has to be Fearless which means to push through all the problems at cameras and was intended to give a communication between mute and deaf people to people who currently do not know sign language it's amazing to impact and change those people's lives and allow them to go into a work settings or a school and be able to communicate with other people who don't even know sign language normally in a fire evacuation people are told they were the nearest exit what if the nearest exit is right where the fire is we created a c that detect the location of the fire and then develops the safest route out of the building avoiding all Danger on the way are probably did mainly based towards fire evacuation but it could be expanded to other types of evacuation substance such as active shooters or please create a television which is the system that is going to detect tunnel movement is going to map it on our processing math and it's going to give an alert to my phone which would be a commander stone or someone who needs to either update on the drilling going to be able to military to detect and map the tunnels and find them to demolish done before they become legitimate start to society for the system to work we had to learn how to code for the blink app for processing for the op amp and integrated all I took I attended the size of it last year and I think that gave me a lot of perspective on how much we can accomplish his kids and it gave me a lot of inspiration to my project this year besides program is something that I've never experienced before unlike any other class that I taken it's not sitting down at his desk and hearing a teacher lecture and taking notes it's interactive it's Innovative and you're faced with a problem you're given material and you really have to learn how to fix that problem it's really important to have a program like sides and an engineering program in schools because it allows you to be able to think differently and think creatively and I think that it really allowed me to grow as like a learner and a thinker I went from having a very limited knowledge on engineering to being able to build a product that could potentially help thousands of kids and I think that's a really cool it got me thinking that there's not a come out there that doesn't have a solution and that you don't have to wait for someone else to create the solution you yourself and do it we hope to change the lives of people and not just a not just in the future but in the present as well did the 1209 problem solvers creative thinkers innovators and future on we all take pride in your achievements you every one of you who is sitting here today you are our future and we wish you continued success
