Bio

BS in Biochemistry, SUNY Stony Brook; MS Education, Bank Street; PhD Neuroscience, Yale; CIJE Middle School specialist since 2017.  Katherine began teaching neuroscience classes at Yale College and Medical School. She then taught middle school math and science in Harlem and later in Los Angeles Jewish Day schools.  As a CIJE mentor, she is responsible for continuing to organize and update the CIJE Middle School curriculum.  She loves reading, watching TV and film, traveling and dancing Argentine tango.
